Early Spring in North Carolina?

Found these Japanese Flowering Apricots in Raleigh today. They where introduced to this area by Dr. Raulston, the person that the JC Raulston Arboretum is named for.

 The warm weather has triggered the blooms to be about 2 weeks early this year.
